Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services and materials.
By purchasing an item from Country Life Services Ltd you are agreeing to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
Ordering from us
The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our terms and conditions of business. These terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights. All prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the statutory rate current at the date of invoice. The company reserves the right to alter prices and / or specifications at any time and without prior notice.
Payment
Payment for items purchased through eBay must be made within 7 working days of initial order. Accepted payment methods are shown in the eBay item listings. We reserve the right to notify eBay of any unpaid items via any appropriate method - including the feedback system and the Non Payer system.
No goods shall pass from the company to the customer unless and until the customer has made full and complete payment to the company. If payment is not made in full and the good have been shipped then We retains title of goods.
Delivery
We do not ship to BFPO or PO box numbers.
Please note that the delivery time is the only element of the package we can not control. Once the item has left us we can not control the delivery of the item and we are in the hands of the carrier/royal mail to deliver it. We will email you upon despatch of the item so that you know when to expect delivery. All large items (potage cost £6.95 or over) are sent via courier on a next day service and require a signature. All UK small items are sent royal mail first class, this service can take 3-5 days. If the order is not delivered within the specified time you must contact us and let us know that it has not arrived. A valid signature is needed upon delivery of goods (Except in the case of Royal Mail postal service). You can instruct the carrier to leave the goods in a place of your choice however you are fully responsible for this and no losses can be made against Country Life Service Ltd or the Carrier company.
If the item is out of stock or it is special order we will contact you using either email or telephone to inform you of time scales to fullfill the order.
If you are not in when the goods are attempted to be delivered then a card will be left and it is the responsibility of the customer to arrange redelivery of the parcel. Our Couriers do not charge for re-delivery but you must contact them within 72 hrs or the goods will be returned to us. If delivery is not made within 5 days of the first delivery attempt then the parcel will be returned to us and we will have to charge for the return and redelivery costs..
If items are received and the packaging is damaged then in order for a claim to be made the goods are to be signed "as damaged" and you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for the damaged items to be collected & replaced at no additional cost and we will be responsible for claiming for the items from our couriers.
Guarantee
The company guarantees that should our products not be to the standard, or in any way different from that advertised, we will refund any monies paid by the customer, but shall only apply to the item's) in question. Complaints or non-receipt of goods must be reported to the company in writing within 10 working days of order date.
The company does not accept responsibility for damage to any equipment in which our products are used for the purpose other than those for which it was designed.
Returns
Customers wishing to return good must do so within 7 days of receiving them. We do not accept goods back outside this time frame. You must contact us before returning items. All items must be received back with us Un-used, and in there original packaging in saleable condition.
For Large Items Sent Via Courier
We can arrange for the item to be collected at a cost of £25 on an appointed working day. If you are not available at the arranged date there will be a further collection charge of £25. It is the responsibility of the customer returning the item to ensure that it is packaged well for the return journey. Alternatively, you arrange for the items to be shipped back to our offices under your own method of carriage. The customer is liable for the safe transportation of the goods until they are received back at the company’s office. Upon receipt of the full goods back in a saleable condition a refund, for the purchase price of the goods paid, will be made back to the original method of payment. The original postage and packaging charge cannot be refunded. For items collected outside mainland UK the collection charge will be different, please apply for further details.
For Small Items Sent Via Royal Mail
You must arrange for the items to be shipped back to our offices under your own method of carriage. The customer is liable for the safe transportation of the goods until they are received back at the company’s office. Upon receipt of the full goods back in a saleable condition a refund for the purchase price of the goods paid will be made back to the original method of payment. The original postage and packaging charge cannot be refunded
Privacy and Data Protection
We will not share any address, contact details or payment details with any other parties.
We may contact you to advise you of any special offers. If you do not wish to receive this notification, please let us know in writing.
