I use this pen for my guinea pigs on sunny days on the lawn. This is a very sturdy pen and in the 2 years I’ve had it, it’s not tarnished or broken. It is easy to assemble and dissemble and most importantly, it is dog proof! I have a Jack Russel X Staffie, who would love to get his teeth into my guinea pigs given the chance. But this sturdy pen doesn’t cave in. I would recommend buying the plastic black base as an extra - I use it instead of the netting as the ‘lid’ when they are outside, and it keeps the guinea pigs dry in case of rainy spells, and offers shade and protection from cats as excitable dogs.
The pen can be moved about easily without the need to dissemble it, as well as attaching it to existing pens to make them larger.
With the waterproof black base, this pen is also ideal for indoor use in winter. |

I bought this play pen for my daughters 3 guinea pigs and they love it, although its big enough for Rabbits to. It comes with a net to put over the top to keep cats off and you can get a sheet to attach to the bottom for when its used indoors. Its made of rust proof steel and has a door for easy access. Its great outdoors in summer or indoors when my daugter are playing with their pets or to put them in whilst cleaning their hutch. A brillant buy. Highley recommended. |
