They have several of these and they are always bursting with chicks!!! This traditional box with 32mm hole and perch is ideal for Tree Sparrow, house sparrow, Finches, and most of the tit family, thought many others have taken up residence in my neighbours. The large roof overhang (unlike most other designs) protects the birds from the elements and from predators. The roof can also be removed for easy cleaning. They have also been designed so that you can fasten the to timber, stone, brick, concrete simply and securely with two fixing points above an below the main box. Screws and plugs are supplied with you box. These boxes are made from 12mm hardwood faced exterior grade plywood and treated in a red cedar animal safe preservative.
