FOR FANS OF BEATRIX POTTER THERE’S STILL TIME TO SEE THIS FANTASTIC EVENT… ENTITLED: Winter with Beatrix Potter
WHERE: National Trust, Lyme Park, Cheshire SK12 2NR
WHEN: 5th November 2011 – 19th February 2012
This event showcases 16 rarely seen and specially selected watercolours painted by Beatrix Potter all of which have a winter or Christmas theme. Also on show will be the original manuscript of The Tailor of Gloucester, and a page written in code from Beatrix’s journal, along with her designs for Christmas cards.
There will also be a Beatrix Potter Garden trail, indoor activities for children and a shop selling Beatrix Potter themed gifts. Admission charge applies.
